If you are anything like our family the humidifier runs 24/7 especially in the winter. The kids have colds and coughs and the air generated from the humidifier is what helps to ease the breathing. This model comes with two tanks which enable you to have the humidifier running for around 10 or more hours. These tanks are easy to fill. You can even fill one tank whilst the other is working. The size of these tanks means that you will not need to refill the tank in the middle of the night.

One needs to note that all humidifiers require a small amount of maintenance and this Vicks model is no different. Once a week just clean it with some soap and water or vinegar or citric acid whatever your preferred method is. This will prevent a build up of white chalky crust.
